I am embracing

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

I am embracing the fact that I am going to be 40, and I am going to feel great about starting a new page in my book of life. I am choosing to go after what I want and if I don?t get it, I will choose not to let it devastate me. When that happens, I?ll pick up my behind and go after something else. I want to feel alive and proud and energized by my family, friends, and my own desire not to be a couch potato. I want to feel like dancin?. (Ok, maybe I am getting a bit carried away, but I think you get the point!)

I have never been one to focus much on my looks or to worry much about my style. Don?t get me wrong, I like to look good and stylish, but I never had the money it takes to do it up great. I am a fairly simple person and have no intention of changing that fact, but turning 40 does make me take a realistic look at the image that I put out into the world. I see this time in my life as an opportunity to possibly recreate myself, or minimally make sure that what I am I want to keep.

One thing about my image that I know that I don?t want to keep is an extra forty pounds I have been carrying around.

To diagnose disease, use a

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

To diagnose disease, use a rose quartz crystal. For general divination, a silver, lapis, wood or hematite pendulum works well. A pendulum can be anything that appeals to you, that is personal, feels like it conducts energy and can be hung from a chain or string. For instance, I have a little silver acorn charm that works perfectly as a pendulum. Some people use keys or talismans or charms such as a crucifix or ankh. Pendulums can be bought commercially online and in New Age or Occult Stores.

There are no strict rules around the practice of dowsing, however there are two methodologies behind the purpose of it.

The first methodology involves using the pendulum to answer a yes or no question. Some practitioners use a chart or a map, usually a square of paper with a circle drawn on it with the words YES or NO written at the four quarter points of the circle.

Sometimes, a direct answer can be written on the four points of the paper as well.

This is Kate Fearnley; The Teesside darling of designer fashion who’s just as happy in Primark

This is Kate Fearnley; The Teesside darling of designer fashion who’s just as happy in Primark

0 Comments | Evening Gazette (Middlesbrough, England), Nov 30, 2009

So this is her – a bit of a rock chick who loves her designs but is honest enough to admit that sometimes they are just not her style. MARIE TURBILL hears her confessions SHE isn’t showy or flash, she wears little makeup and probably wouldn’t describe herself as particularly glam.

Her style is quite casual – she describes it as rock chick – and it is in stark contrast to the clothes she designs.

Kate Fearnley is fast becoming renowned for her stunning little dresses, bright coloured frocks that attract the eyes of some of the world’s top celebs. Her customers include the likes of X Factor Winner Alexandra Burke, TV presenter Zoe Salmon and those screen sirens from Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

Even the jungle babe we love to hate, Katie Price, gives Kate a personal mention in her new book, Standing Out.

No surprise then that the 33-year-old from Saltburn has just been titled Cosmopolitan magazine’s Ultimate Young Fashion Entrepreneur. She collected the award at a glitzy star-studded London ceremony, wearing one of her own designs – a glamorous black gown she made the day before.

So how did it feel to win such a coveted award? It was fantastic, such an experience. I was so nervous and petrified of getting on the stage in front of all those people.

And what did you wear? It was a nightmare. I hadn’t made it by Tuesday and I was going on the Wednesday. It was so important I didn’t know what I wanted. I knew I had to wear something I had made, but there was nothing I felt comfortable in.

Couldn’t you just take your pick from the shop? The woman I design for isn’t me. My style is probably quite rock chick looking, whereas the girl that I design for is quite a girly girl.

She is that girl who looks perfect when she goes out, with perfect makeup and perfect hair.

I ended up taking elements from three of my dresses and combining them into one.

As a fashion designer, is it difficult to know what to wear? When you do a fashion show or something you have to get into the character of a fashion designer.

If I am doing something for work, people will judge me for what I wear.

Even if I go to a wedding it is expected that I make what I am wearing. But it is a good way of advertising my collection and seeing people’s reactions. It means that I am always working even when I am having fun.

How do you like to dress? I buy lots of vintage trainers and second-hand shoes and boots. I have things in my wardrobe that I dig out from years ago and will mix those with things from Primark and Topshop. There’s also bits and bobs from my own collections. What do you think of this season’s fashions? They are very much up my street. The trends now are things that I have been wearing for years. The high street is so good these days and so hot on the trends.

Do your designs reflect current trends? I do integrate some elements from upcoming trends into my designs but my customers are strong independent girls that want to be individual. They don’t want to wear what everyone else is wearing.

What inspires you? There is always something that inspires me. It is normally fabrics and colours. I will lock myself away for the weekend and really get into it

There are many things

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

There are many things to consider when you are buying or selling a boat. Boating is a wonderful hobby and can bring many happy, thrill-filled days, but, they might also be unhappy ones if you end up purchasing the wrong boat. If you are a bass fisherman, you know how important a good bass boat is. If you are looking for a good jon boat, purchasing one in the winter is a good idea, but the selection can sometimes be limited. Use the Internet, as it is a fantastic resource for all types of boats. Whether it is a bass boat, inflatable dinghy, inflatable zodiac or even a bow rider.

Pickup a boat trader magazine and scan through it until you find a boat suitable for your purposes. Remember that taking the word of the seller that the motor is sound is not good enough. If you’re purchasing a fishing boat, a motor of eight to 20 hp is a good rule of thumb.

She was much better

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

She was much better in, “Freaky Friday”, where she was playing
in a cool band.

This movie is predictable and you know early on that something is going to
go wrong for her. Lindsay might want to look at playing a role as a prostitute,
because she has been playing the nice sweet girl in all of her recent movies.
What she does in her personal life, might make a better movie. She seems
to be very far away from the Mickey Mouse Club!

If you paid to see this movie in the theater, I feel sorry for you, because you
were robbed. Not just robbed of your dignity, but robbed financially! Even
her other movies were some what bearable, but this movie was like rolling
naked down a hill of broken glass! One movie-goer on line said, “no surprises,
it’s as bad as you expected.” When I read that comment in the imdb.com
movie review section, I started laughing.

Some authorities believe that folic acid is

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

Some authorities believe that folic acid is contraindicated in
leukemia and cancer.

Pantothenic Acid

Vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid helps in cell building, main- taining normal growth and
development of the central nervous system. It stimulates the adrenal glands and increases the
production of cortisone and other adrenal hormones. It is essential for conversion of fatty and
sugar to energy. It also helps guard against most physical and mental stresses and toxins and
increases vitality. The main sources of this vitamin are whole grain bread and cereals, green
vegetables, peas, beans, peanuts and egg yolk. It can be synthesised in the body by intestinal
bacteria. A deficiency can cause chronic fatigue, hypoglycemia, greying and loss of hair, mental
depression, stomach disorders, blood and skin disorders.

The minimum daily requirement of this vitamin has not been established, but is estimated to be
between 30 and 50 mg a day. The usual therapeutic doses are 50 to 200 mg. In some studies,
1,000 mg or more were given daily for six moths without side effects.

At first, side (peripheral)

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

At first, side (peripheral) vision is lost. If glaucoma is not treated, vision loss may continue, leading to total blindness over time.

Glaucoma Symptoms.

There are three basic types of glaucoma:

Open-angle glaucoma (OAG) is the most common form of glaucoma in the United States and in the United Kingdom. In open-angle glaucoma, the optic nerve is slowly damaged, usually causing gradual loss of vision. Both eyes can be affected at the same time, although one may be affected more than the other. Sometimes much of your eyesight can be affected before you notice a change.

Closed-angle glaucoma (CAG) is less common, accounting for about 10% of all glaucoma cases in the United States. In closed-angle glaucoma, the colored part of the eye (iris) and the lens block the movement of fluid between the chambers of the eye, causing pressure to build up and the iris to press on the drainage system (trabecular meshwork) of the eye.

It will only take up air

by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Uncategorized

It will only take up air space and offer no space interference.

Level 3: Ceiling

Same goes with tvs and Level 3. There are dozens of ceiling mounts out there that your tvs can be mounted on.

But ceiling wall mounts don’t arise to the surface of many minds. And this also makes a good example of how Level 3 is often left out of the picture when furnishing your home.

Level 3 will not take up floor space or interfere with your walking zone (assuming you are not so tall that you actually reach your ceiling). Level three only takes up air space.

It offers the most advantages.

There are dozens and dozens of items out there that you may not even know exists that you can furnish your home with.

That are considered much lighter and more suitable alternatives than what you have in your home right now.

Consider an aquarium and the three levels. Did you know that wall aquariums existed?

Not the type that you put inside of a wall, but the type of aquarium in which you can hang on your wall like a picture?

They are often referred to as Living Pictures.

Living Pictures could be saving you space in your home right now if you knew about them.

If you own an aquarium that’s taking up a large amount of floor space you could easily incorporate Level 2 in your home to give yourself more room.

Not to mention you have more of an advantage by being able to place your Living Picture just about anywhere in your home.

Knowing about the top-to-bottom-strategy is offering yourself more freedom.
